Johnnie Walker stands as one of the most popular and recognizable blended Scotch brands. The core range includes the Red Label and Black Label, introduced in 1909 and named after their packaging. The iconic “striding man” motif, created by Tom Browne, first appeared the year before. The premium Blue Label, launched in 1992, features malt whisky from some of the most sought-after distilleries in Diageo’s portfolio. Many of these distilleries remain operational due to their role in Johnnie Walker blends during the challenging 1980s.

The XR 23 Years is a blended whisky that includes whiskies from Cragganmore, Linkwood, and the now-silent Glasgow grain distillery of Port Dundas.
